BIMTESS 2026 Graduation Ceremony: A Day of Inspiration and Promise
The 2026 BIMTESS graduation ceremony was nothing short of electrifying, as students prepare to face the upcoming MSCE examinations with renewed determination.

Outgoing president Comfort Ibrahim delivered a heartfelt speech, reflecting on the class’s journey from Form 1 to Form 4. He expressed gratitude to the school management and staff for their tireless dedication in shaping students into responsible citizens. He also acknowledged the vital role parents play in supporting their children’s education at BIMTESS. With confidence, he assured parents that the 2026 class would surpass the achievements of the 2025 cohort.

Incoming president Rahim Mgomba took the stage to commend the graduating class for setting a shining example. He encouraged them to remain focused and resilient as they approach their national examinations.

Adding a motivational spark, Alinafe Mzoza, a final-year student at Kamuzu University of Health Sciences (College of Medicine), urged learners to embrace purpose and healthy competition. He emphasized education as the key to breaking cycles of poverty and unlocking success.

The PTA chairperson, Mr. Matchiya, challenged students to aim for excellence and pledged a reward of MK500,000 for those who achieve between 6 and 9 points. He further encouraged learners to seek guidance from the 114 BIMTESS alumni who secured places in public universities this year.

Representing the Board, Mr. Edward Kuwacha echoed the importance of healthy competition in driving performance. He awarded MK250,000 to Student of the Year, Daniel Kumwenda, and promised more rewards for top achievers.

Director Mr. Jesman Seva reminded parents of their responsibility to monitor their children’s behavior, stressing that BIMTESS is a center of excellence, not a reformatory. He expressed gratitude to the guest of honor, Rev Canon Francis Takilima, for his lasting impact on the school’s vision during his tenure as director.

Rev Canon Francis Takilima, in his keynote address, challenged students to strive for grades that make their parents proud. He praised BIMTESS for its commitment to quality education and its scholarship program that rewards top performers with half-fee support. He also congratulated the 114 students selected to public universities, urging them to continue working hard.

The ceremony was a powerful blend of reflection, motivation, and celebration a reminder that BIMTESS is not just a school, but a launchpad for dreams and success.
